# Cape & Island Kitchens Wins Silver PRISM Award for Best Website

Posted November 6, 2026

Cape & Island Kitchens has received the Silver Award for Best Website at the 2026 PRISM Awards, presented by the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston (BRAGB).

The PRISM Awards recognize excellence in building, remodeling, design, and marketing across Greater Boston and New England.

The award recognizes the new website which launched this year after a full brand refresh and website redesign.

## A Website That Reflects the Work

For more than 35 years, Cape & Island Kitchens has [designed and built kitchens](https://capekitchens.com/services/kitchen-remodels), [bathroom remodels](https://capekitchens.com/services/bathroom-remodels), and [provided custom cabinetry](https://capekitchens.com/services/cabinetry) for homeowners across Cape Cod and the South Shore. Over that time the company has completed more than 6,000 projects from its showrooms in Sagamore Beach and Hyannis. The previous website did not reflect that scope. Homeowners often arrived thinking of the company as a cabinet supplier, without knowing about the design team, the carpenters, or the full remodeling coordination behind each project.

The redesign set out to do three things: show the full range of what the company does, make the project portfolio easy to explore, and answer homeowners’ most common questions before they pick up the phone.

The new site includes:

- Dedicated pages for kitchen design, bathroom design, remodeling, custom cabinetry, and custom closets
- A filterable project gallery organized by room and style
- Profiles of the design team, so homeowners can find the designer whose work fits their vision
- A Resources section covering budgets, timelines, and planning
- A Trade Services section for builders, architects, and contractors

> “Our outdated website made us look like a small-time operation. Now we’re attracting more ideal clients and employees who want to work with a full-service, professional company.”
> –Joe Cheney, founder of Cape & Island Kitchens

The website was designed and developed by [Dative, a Cape Cod digital marketing agency for builders and architects](https://hellodative.com/).
